Julie Beck recently joined Mountain West Commercial as the new Client Service Coordinator for Tracy and Michelle Doongs’ team. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and went to Penn State to earn a degree in Recreation & Tourism Management. After college, her husband and her moved to Fort Worth, Texas for a change of scenery and then to Salt Lake City to enjoy the mountains and reconnect with  family out west.

Prior to making the switch to Real Estate, she worked at Tracy Aviary, an education and conservation center focused on birds, where she gained extensive knowledge and experience in marketing and event planning. During her time there, she planned events for Utah residents and visitors, practiced her marketing skills while writing press releases and newsletters, and created a strong social media platform. She has really enjoyed learning about the Commercial Real Estate industry from Tracy and Michelle. It only makes sense that she is interested in Commercial Real Estate, specifically Retail because she spends most of her spare time at restaurants and boutiques in SLC.

In her spare time, Julie loves to explore the retail scene in Salt Lake, try new recipes from her growing cookbook collection, take photos of nature and friends and spend time with family. Her husband and her like to find fun places to take their pup, Wilma as they love to explore the Utah mountains and deserts.
