Scope of Service Experience
Thomas Longaker is a Retail/Investment sales agent for Mountain West Retail-Investment. Tom first joined the company early in 2003, where he held the position of Retail Research Coordinator, which demanded the development and refinement of the company's retail market database. With monitoring the retail market and building relationships with landlords, appraisers, developers and tenants, Mr. Longaker produced an invaluable tool for the company and gained a strong understanding of the retail real estate market in Utah.
Background & Experience
Prior to his career at Mountain West Retail-Investment, Tom was introduced to commercial real estate while employed at Grubb & Ellis \| Utah Realty. There he assisted 15 agents in the acquisition and disposition or commercial property through proposal presentations, property database maintenance, marketing strategy formulation and implementation, technology advisory services, relationship development and GIS/Mapping production. In addition to assisting those agents, Tom generated office organizational processes and helped to increase staff and agent productivity. Over the course of Tom's life he has gained considerable expertise with computers. Being involved in a specialized multimedia academy and given many opportunities to provide training to many associations, helping to bridge the gap between man and machine. Eight years before entering the commercial real estate industry he singled handedly sold his computer services and products to hundreds of clients. Maintaining complete satisfaction from his customers and recognized for his honesty and devotion to them. Having these values and history gives Mr. Longaker an edge in the commercial real estate realm. He is able to quickly establish trust with his clients and offer swift comprehensive guidance in finding the right location for new businesses and long established companies.
